Peter left his native England to fight Communists in the Spanish Civil War out of a sense of moral obligation. The tea tree and eucalyptus fragrance of this pomace bar soap will inspire you to make it at least as far as the shower, out of a sense of hygiene obligation.

    My favorite soap bar yet, everyone likes the fragrance and the poppy seeds are good for exfoliating. Read the book too while you can.

    I ordered this soap in July and have been using it in the DS sisal sac, which I previously used with another all-natural Indian Ayurvedic soap, called Chandrika, ever since. Perhaps that's why I hardly smell this soap at all when using it. The soap works very well and has lasted quite some time compared to the smaller bars of Chandrika that I've used for the past 5+ years. I like the little charcoal beads that often come through to add to the exfoliating scrub. Like I said, I can hardly smell it at all, unlike Chandrika, which has a strong, unique scent; however, that may simply be because I need to clean the sisal sac to allow the new soap's smells to be fresh.

    I love this soap. After a workout, the scent of the Nationalist bar just puts me in the right frame of mind to face the day.

    Have you ever sniffed yourself after you’ve showered and thought to yourself, “nice!”. This soap does that to me everytime. It rinses off clean, no residue, and the scent is refreshing without being overpowering.

    This is my favorite bar soap from Dissident right now. It has a great smell, I like the little pellets embedded in the soap, and it's a large brick so it lasts a long time.

    Nice smell and quite refreshing. I like the poppy seed exfoliation. This bar lasted three weeks.

    Who needs a loofah when you've got a pile of poppy seeds baked right into the bar? The scrub is intense, if you like that kind of thing. Unique scent that you won't find in megalocorp bar soap. Happy to support the DS gang.
