Ancestor Natural Deodorant

Great deodorant that works well and smells amazing. The only reason it isn't a 5 star is because it doesn't last as long as other deodorants. I went through 1/4 stick in about a week and a half. The deodorant itself is a very soft so it goes fairly thick. If they could add something to thicken the stick to make it last longer, it would be absolute perfection. : )

My Anglo Saxon forefathers smile down on me and breathe a sigh of relief knowing their bloodline doesn't smell like BO. Love this deodorant. I did find its best to use only a little bit, or else the cinnamon can be overpowering. But still it makes you smell like an autumn forest.

Fresh, cinnamon and spice mix. Mature and hides general/daily B.O. well, gives me a musky smell that's like a fine Hot Toddy. OK, all the pretentiousness aside, the wife said I don't stink, so that's about as good as it gets.

Does the job, need I say more? Great product, thank you.

I wasn't sure what to expect based on other reviews but I'm glad I gave this one a go. I've always had trouble finding that right deodorant and this one was an immediate yes once I gave it a go. This stuff actually lasts a bit longer than I'd expect it would. It doesn't leave a sticky sensation like others I've tried and it doesn't leave me feeling dry, either. Ancestor, indeed. If a deodorant can make you feel closer to a home you may never have visited but need to, this would be it.

The smell is good. I didnt think I would like it at first but I do. I also got the pine one and this cinnamon one smells more pleasant. What keeps it from being perfect I think is that it is too soft so you either cant get an even application to the shape of your pit from lack of pressure, or you end up applying too much if you push hard enough to flatten your pit for even application. Where this is an expensive product I avoid that route. Maybe more beeswax in the formula would help. My other concern I didnt know about until someone brought it to my attention is that tea tree oil is proving to micmic the actions of estrogen. There is an easy to find study of some young males after exposure to lavender and or tea tree oil body products growing breast tissue. This went away when they stopped using the products, but it still has me wondering how safe it is. Maybe an alternative to tea tree could be used where cinnamon is the primary scent on this one .

My husband didn't like the way this smelled on him, so I confiscated it for myself. It smells like Christmas to me with the cinnamon. I'll probably steal his legionnaire deodorant too because he doesn't like it either. But I like them, I've always liked more outdoorsy scents, Probably doesn't go well with my floral scented natural shampoo, but oh well.

Both this deodorant and Legionnaire smell GREAT! Seriously, these are really really good and I don't expect to use any deodorant sold at WalMart ever again. The wife loves the unique smells as well which is of course very important :)

I don’t know exactly what they put in this deodorant as a scent but my wife loves it! Even after working out I still smell ok enough to not be embarrassed for people to be around me. I also love that it doesn’t have aluminum in it and most of the other deodorants I used that were natural did not work. Gab was spot on!
