    Healing Healer Body Wash

    Published by V S on 15th Jun 2023

This was my first time purchasing from Dissident Soaps. I went with the Healer scented body wash because of the Plague Doctor theme, and the scent sounded pleasant. I use it as a body wash, sometimes as a hand wash, and the smell is wonderful! The wash itself made my hands very slippery when I first tried it. It lathers really well on a shower pouff, and about 3 squirts lasts for your arms and upper body. I really enjoy using this, and I will be definitely buying more stuff from Dissident! Highly recommend!

    Absolutely great

This liquid soap is a piece of art, ye. It smells absolutely wonderful and I do get compliments on the smell. It's very strong and you only need a little bit. I like to use the dispenser top and just give two or three squeezes. It also doesn't irritate my skin like plenty of common shelf body washes do.

The Soap to End All Soaps

Published by Unicron the Destroyer on 31st Aug 2022

Other than the Caudillo bar soap (realizing not everyone appreciates a good bar of soap), this soap is the kneecap to every other cheap, artificial, chemical abomination you'll find in big box stores. The soap smells amazing, first of all. It fills the showering with a lingering perfume, but doesn't linger on the skin like some cheap body spray. Best of all, it feels amazing on the skin. No dryness, and doesn't leave a soapy, lotion-y feeling after you've thoroughly rinsed. I feel it hits the sweet spot for smell and performance, and it's by far my favorite of the varieties I tried in the sampler pack. Two thumbs up!

    Strong

Published by Shawn Thornburg on 7th Apr 2022

This was a net positive. I ordered two sample packs, one for a friend of mine and one for me. My friend tried them first, and he sent me a message saying he loved how the soap cleaned, but didn't like the underlying smell of vomit. He was referring to Healer. I was really confused, but I just now used Healer and I can see how he would get that. Someone who isn't used to the smells of lavender and rosemary essential oils could end up having his or her senses confused, especially since the orange helps it smell sweet. I think this is a sweet variety of lavender, too. The conflict between the herbal and sweet smells can easily confuse an untrained nose. I don't think it smells like vomit because I'm used to the component smells, but I do think the oils are just plain too strong for my sensitive nose and skin. None of that is the fault of Dissident Soaps, however, because this is an absolutely solid soap, as are they all. The lathering action is amazing, especially if you use it as a shampoo first, kind of using your hair as a pouf. My response is going to be to get Grey Man. My friend's response is probably going to be to never get these soaps again, even though he said they clean better than any other soap he has. But then he's also a guy who loves Axe body wash, so I'd take that lightly if I were you. It might be better to embrace the herbal smell for this one, rather than trying to sweeten it, but regardless, all of the positives I experienced were due to Dissident, and all of the negatives were strictly due to me. I think Grey Man will be the perfect solution for me.

    Apothecary 1

Another great bodywash to give a shot. These bodywashes are not overwhelming like others which I like. Expands well and does not irritate my dry skin. Most bodywashes riddle my body with all the chemicals and was surprised when this didn't bother me. Thought I was in for a tough time lol
