Description

This sac is made from sisal, an agave-family plant native to Mexico, and now grown in Florida. The leaves of the plant can be crushed & dried to create the sisal fiber used to make rope, twine, paper, cloth and other products that are long-lasting, stretchy, natural and resistant to water-rot.

To use it, simply place your soap bar inside the bag, cinch it closed, get it wet and start scrubbing. When you're done, hang the whole thing, bar and all, up to dry until next time. Our testing has shown this product extends the life of our 6 ounce bar soaps by 300% over rubbing the bar directly on your skin, plus it provides mild exfoliation.

    Make Sure You Buy Two

Published by Unknown on 17th Jul 2024

I got the four-pack of soap and one of these. It did its job: absolutely extended the life of the soap, and made for a decent enough scrubber. Actually it's surprisingly soft. But by the time I was halfway through the third bar of soap, I had worn enough holes through it that as the soap bar got smaller, it started falling out. So just make sure that, if you're buying the four pack of soap, you buy TWO of these, not just the one.

    sisal sac

Published by Mark on 23rd Nov 2023

I have always used a washcloth and was not sure how this would hold up or feel. After using the sisal sac, I am surprised at how much I like it. It isn't very soft which some people may not like, but I feel like it really gives me a good clean.

    Better than I imagined

Published by J. Johnson on 19th Sep 2023

The texture when dry might mislead you into thinking it is going to be like a soap on a rope in terms of acting like a cheese grater on your skin. Yet the second it absorbs water it softens and becomes quite delicate to the touch. I use it on my two infant sons and it lathers well in the warm water. In cold water it needs some extra motivation but overall it extends the life of your soap considerably so I already made my money back on it. Definitely buy it.

    Unique alternative

Published by HROTHGAR OHREINSATHUR on 16th Jul 2023

I'd never seen anything like this: a bag you can put your soap into and use as a wash rag. It works great, doesn't feel like it's scraping your skin, and is all natural. Much better than any of the other items I've used for washing. I've only owned it since May, so we'll see how it holds up after time.

    Bar soap enjoyers rejoice

Published by Dan T. on 30th Jun 2023

I have always enjoyed a vigorous scouring while I take a hot scrubbing. But this sisal sack is exactly what it claims to be, that being, mild and preserving. This mild nature put me off at first, but I noticed two things. 1. My skin felt just as clean as when I'd rubbed myself raw with other synthetic fiber based products. 2. The longevity I got from using the sisal was extreme. In the time it took me to get through a single bar, the other individual who uses the shower had gone through at least 4 of another brand. If you buy bar soap, the frugal and hygienic choice is to grab a sisal. You will not regret it.

Just add it to your cart.

Don’t let your soap sit in a funky dish, hang it up in one of these. It exfoliates, extends the life of your soap, and it’s only $10. Just add it to your cart.
